Tarina Tarantino: Sparklicity Shimmer Dust Review

The original Sparklicity Shimmer Dust is the only bottle I intended to purchase from Sephora. It was also the only bottle I could never find in stores or online. Naturally, after giving up, I finally found it on Sephora's online site after I had acquired the gold and bronze shimmer dusts.
What it is: A microcrystalline sparkle product in an atomizer that poufs just the right amount of luxurious shimmer onto the face, body, and hair.

What it is does: "All sparkle is not created equal. Sparklicity Pure is total microcrystalline sparkle pigment to create fantastical sparkling effects. It can be used anywhere: face, body, or hair."
I think the original Sparklicity shimmer comes in the cutest packaging. A tiny pink bottle with a silver poof homes the loose shimmer dust. As with the other two bottles, it comes with two plastic caps that seal off the top. One covers the whole head and another one stops up the nozzle.

I admit that I secretly hoped there would be the sightliest trace of pink in the powder, based on the color of the bottle, like with the gold and bronze. Despite appearances, the shimmer dust is actually a fine silver white.

On the skin it is much subtler than the other two versions, but more ethereal as well. It provides a soft shimmer that sparkles ever so slightly when the light hits. I can use this on the face and body without worrying about overloading on sparkles.

The sparkles also seem to be finer than the Sparklicity Pure loose powder.

Even when the powder is all gone, the bottle can an adorable decorative piece.
